Load-shedding backup, camps and cold chain for South African sites

Mines and plants already know diesel. The agent’s job is a Chinese container plant that matches 50 Hz, heat, and a Durban or Cape Town landing — not a CIS winter story.

Load-shedding backup, mine camps, BESS/hybrid, cold rooms. Industrial buyers, not mall gensets. Ports: Durban, Cape Town, Ngqura.

South Africaphoto when we have a clean site shot

Agent visits the plant. You keep the African site.

  • Load, site, port.
  • Plant shortlist.
  • Visit and quotes.
  • Spec vs papers.
  • You contract the factory.

Who this is for

Mines

Camp and backup that survive a long outage.

Factories

Load-shedding hurts more than the diesel bill. Hybrid if the numbers work.

Cold logistics

Reefers need a power plan or they are scrap.

EPC

Need a plant that can show a line, not a reseller.

Before the boat leaves China

  • Load profile, not a pretty kVA number.
  • BESS fire and transport rules if batteries ship.
  • Who services diesel in RSA.
  • Port: Durban vs Cape vs Ngqura — pick before the boat.
  • No grey “sanctions” pitch. RSA is not that story.
  • The agent is not your electrical COC contractor.

FAQ

Are you in Johannesburg?
Agent in China. You keep RSA installation and COC.
Will this pass SANS?
The agent checks what the plant can document. Your local engineer signs the site. We do not sell a fake certificate.
BESS for load-shedding?
Yes if the load and fire plan are real. Diesel-only is still the honest default on many sites.
Why not buy in RSA?
If a local yard already has the box, buy local. This page is for a China-built plant you cannot pick up in Germiston tomorrow.
OEM names?
No Western OEM storefront. Chinese plants only.
Fee?
Audit plus success fee after the factory contract.
